Sofia Morozova

Sofia studies with Alexandr Golovanov at Uralian Musical College in Yekaterinburg.

She was prize-winner of: Admiralty Star International Festival-Competition for Performance Groups and Performers (Yekaterinburg, 2012, I prize), III Regional Competition for Young Wind and Percussion Instruments Players (Yekaterinburg, 2013, I prize), Our Hopes Open Regional Competition for Young Musicians (Yekaterinburg, 2014, I prize), VIII  M. Borisov Open Regional Competition for Wind and Percussion Instruments Players (Asbest, 2014, Grand Prix), XIII Culture as Vector of Development Youth Delphian Games of Russia (Volgograd, 2014, II prize), I Uralian Hopes Regional Competition for Young Talents of Sverdlovsk Region (Yekaterinburg, 2015, I prize). She participated in the IX E. Mravinsky International Youth Competition (St. Petersburg, 2014). Sofia is active concert musician, she took part in Uralian State Conservatory subscription concerts, in 2014 she performed in a subscription concert entitled From the treasury of instrumental music. She is participant of master classes of outstanding musicians.

Sofia’s hobby is dancing, she is fond of playing football, she reads a lot and listens to various music.
