Nikolai Varlamov

Nikolai studies at the Central Music School at the P. I. Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory, teacher – Daria Ryabova. 

Laureate of the International Contest The 21st Century Art (Kyiv – Vorzel, Ukraine, 2010, I prize), International Competition for Young Pianists  Pozzolino (Seregno, Italy, 2012, II prize), I International Festival and Competition Astana Piano Passion  (Kazakhstan, 2013, II prize), X  International Competition of Young Musicians (Moscow, 2013, I prize), VI Chopin International Competition for Children (Jelenia Gora, Poland, 2014, I prize). Scholar of the Vladimir Spivakov International Charity Foundation, Yamaha Music Foundation. At the age of 7 made his debut as a soloist with The Seasons Moscow Chamber Orchestra (conductor – V. Bulakhov). A constant participant of the Central Music School students’ concerts at the Moscow State Conservatory, Moscow International Performing Arts Center, Moscow Philharmonic Society and other venues. Has performed on the stages of the Carnegie Hall and The Union Club (New-York, USA, 2014).

Nikolai enjoys tennis, carting and swimming, is interested in cars.
