Alexander Denisov

Alexander studies at the Special Music School-Lyceum at the St. Petersburg Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatory, teacher – Lyubov Rudova.

Laureate of the International Piano Competition Piano Talents (Milan, Italy, 2013, I prize), II International Competition Young Talents With Orchestra (Barlassina – Milan, Italy, 2014, I prize and the Audience Choice Award), César Franck International Piano Competition (Brussels, Belgium, 2014, I prize). Alexander has participated in numerous concerts at the Grand and Small halls of the D. D. Shostakovich St. Petersburg Academic Philharmonia and the N. A. Rimsky-Korsakov St. Petersburg State Conservatory. Has performed for the guests of the G-20 Summit in Saint Petersburg, at the December Nights of the State Russian Museum, at the Mozarteum (Salzburg, Austria, 2015). As a winner of Young Talents With Orchestra Competition appeared on the stages of the Puccini and Verdi halls of the Milan Conservatory (Italy, 2014), at the St. Petersburg  Smolny Cathedral with the school orchestra under the baton of A. Steinlucht (2015) and the Bacău Philharmonia (Romania) with the Mikhail Zhor orchestra conducted by O. Balan (2015). Participated in the International Festival Moscow Meets Friends (2015) and the V CIS Youth Music Academy under Y. Bashmet (2015).

Alexander’s hobbies are music, chess, swimming and fencing.
